Birth of Nobel Laureate Sir C.V. Raman

Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics and the Bharat Ratna in 1954. He founded the Indian Academy of Sciences and the Raman Research Institute in Bangalore.
