Kargil Vijay Diwas (Operation Vijay Victory)
After over 60 days of intense high-altitude mountain warfare, Operation Vijay concluded with total recapture of all Indian territory along the Line of Control. 26 July is observed annually with tributes at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras.
